Denpyo Terms of Service — Platform Rules and Guidelines

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Denpyo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Denpyo is a receipt and expense management service that uses AI technology to help you digitize, organize, and track your business expenses for tax purposes.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Denpyo offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro and Business). The features and price of each plan are shown before you purchase, in your local currency where available. Applicable taxes may be added.

Auto-renewable subscriptions

Denpyo's paid plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payment is charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your account settings on the platform you subscribed through.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • We will notify you in advance of any change to the subscription price. A new price applies from the next renewal, and you may cancel before then.

Where you subscribe

Subscriptions purchased on the web are billed by Stripe and managed in your Denpyo billing settings. Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed to your Apple ID and managed in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Subscriptions purchased in the Android app are billed through Google Play and managed in the Play Store. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments already made are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy and refund requests must be made to Apple; purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google's refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Denpyo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Use the service in any way that could damage or overburden our systems

6. Intellectual Property

The Denpyo service, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data, but grant us a license to process it for providing the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Denpyo at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

Denpyo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of Denpyo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
